What’s the Podcast About?
Backstage Pass is all about giving cast members—past and present—a space to share their unique experiences, from heartwarming guest moments to behind-the-scenes magic. Disney fans love hearing from the people who make the parks so special!
What You’ll Need for the Interview:
- A quiet space for recording
- A good microphone (USB mic or quality earbuds with a mic)
- Headphones to prevent audio feedback
- A stable internet connection
- The ability to join via Zoom
What We’ll Talk About:
- Your pre-Disney life
- Your role(s) at Disney and how you got started
- Favorite magical guest interactions
- Any not-so-fun experiences
- Behind-the-scenes moments
- What being a cast member meant to you
- Tips/tricks that Disney fans might want to know
- Any special memories or stories you’d love to share
- What are you up to now?
Other Items You'll Need for the Episode:
- A picture (or pictures) from your time as a cast member
- A headshot or good picture for our cover image for the episode
- 3-4 sentence bio (if you can email this before the episode, that's really helpful)
What Makes Podcasts Really Stand Out:
- Your ability to answer questions with examples. It helps to come up with some specific stories ahead of time so you can illustrate with words.
- When the podcast comes out, please help us share about it on social media
- Your social media contact info (so we can connect the audience to you afterwards)
- We also have the ability to put this podcast interview on YouTube. You don't have to look completely screen-test ready, but we don't want to surprise you either
The interview will take about 45-60 minutes, and it’s meant to be a fun, casual conversation! It's real life, so if we have to stop, pause, or cut something out, we can do that!
