Timber & Grain Header

Welcome to Timber & Grain, where every piece tells a story.

At Timber & Grain, every piece we create tells a story. It's a story rooted in tradition, passion, opportunity, and the love of working with our hands.

Tim’s journey into woodworking began as a young boy, spending hours in his grandfather’s and father's workshops. The scent of freshly cut timber and the sound of tools at work were the backdrop to his childhood. It was there, amidst the sawdust and wood shavings, that Tim first discovered the joy of crafting something beautiful from a simple piece of wood.

As he grew older, Tim continued to nurture his passion. Whether it was building a loft for his dorm room, a dining table for his first apartment, or a unique gift for a family member, his love for woodworking became more than just a hobby—it became a way of life. Each project was a new adventure, an opportunity to create something meaningful and lasting.

Tim married Dory, who herself was an amateur crafter and big dreamer. She lived on grand ideas, but wasn't sure how to execute them properly.

In 2024, Tim executed a plan to transform his garage into a proper workshop, building floor-to-ceiling storage shelves, a work table, and flexible storage solutions for his tools.

Later that year, following the passing of his father, Tim decided that it was time to turn his passion and talent into more than just an at-home hobby. With the encouragement of his family and a heart full of determination, Timber & Grain was born—a reflection of the craftsmanship and dedication that has been at the core of his work from the beginning.

At Timber & Grain, we believe in the power of handcrafted goods. Each piece is meticulously designed and crafted by Tim himself, using only the finest materials. From bookshelves to custom storage units to closets to caddies, every item is a testament to the beauty and durability of wood. No two pieces are exactly alike—each one carries its own unique grain, its own story.

But Timber & Grain is more than just a business; it’s a labor of love. We are committed to creating high-quality, handcrafted wooden structures that will be cherished for generations. When you purchase from Timber & Grain, you’re not just buying a product—you’re investing in a piece of our story, and you’re supporting a craft that is as timeless as the wood we work with.

Join us on this journey as we continue to explore the endless possibilities of timber and grain. Whether you’re looking for a unique gift, a new piece of furniture, or a custom design, Timber & Grain is here to bring your vision to life, one handcrafted piece at a time.
